WMS Der interoperable INSPIRE-Viewdienst (WMS) Biogeographische Region gibt einen Überblick über die Naturraumgliederung Brandenburgs. Diese setzt sich zusammen aus der Naturräumlichen Gliederung nach Scholz (1962) und den naturrräumlichen Regionen des Landschaftsprogramms. Die Naturraumgliederung Brandenburgs nach Scholz beinhaltet die Geometrie und textliche Bezeichnung von 76 Naturraumuntereinheiten hinsichtlich Geologie, Klima, Relief, Boden, Hydrologie, Gewässer, Flächennutzung und natürliche Vegetation. Diese Naturräumliche Gliederung wird primär für Aufgaben im Naturschutz eingesetzt. Die Naturräumlichen Regionen des Landschaftsprogramms (LAPRO) Brandenburg wurden auf Grundlage der Veröffentlichung "Die naturräumliche Gliederung Brandenburgs" (Eberhard Scholz 1962) erstellt. Gemäß der INSPIRE-Datenspezifikation Bio-geographical Regions (D2.8.III.17_v3.0) liegen die Inhalte der Naturraumkarte INSPIRE-konform vor. Der WMS beinhaltet einen Layer. --- The compliant INSPIRE view service (WMS) Bio-geographical Region provides an overview of the natural and geographical classification of natural landscape in the German state of Brandenburg. It consists of the categorization according to Dr. Eberhard Scholz (1962) as well as to the natural region classification specified by landscape programme of Brandenburg. The dataset incorporates the geometry and description of 76 natural area subunits with respect to geology, climate, relief, soil, hydrology, water, land use and natural vegetation. This natural landscape classification is primarily used for nature conservation purposes. The natural regions by the landscape programme (LAPRO) of Brandenburg ware based on the publication of Scholz (1962) "Die naturräumliche Gliederung Brandenburgs". The content of the geographical classification of natural landscape map is compliant to the INSPIRE data specification for the annex theme Bio-geographical Region (D2.8.III.17_v3.0). The WMS consists of one Layer.
